It’s Just Another Day…

Let’s be real for a second. Birthdays as a kid? A full-blown festival . You didn’t even have to remind people, the hype was automatic. Your friends knew. Your teacher knew. Even your neighbor’s dog probably knew. “7 days to go!” “3 more sleeps!” “Guess what? It’s my birthday week!” But somewhere along the line, that magic quietly slipped away.

Too Late to Notice

As Kids, We Had It All... Or So We Thought Remember those childhood vacations? The ones where you were filled with excitement, a list of things you had to buy: a new toy, candy, souvenirs, maybe even a cool T-shirt with the name of the place printed on it? You'd point at something, and within minutes  poof!,  it was yours. Your parents never said no. But there’s something we all missed back then. Something we were too innocent to notice... They never bought anything for themselves. No bags, no clothes, not even a pair of sunglasses. Just endless rounds of "window shopping" and saying, “Kuch khaas nahi hai,” or “Pasand nahi aaya.” As a kid, I believed them. Today, I know better.
